Teleflex TrachJell® single-dose water-soluble lubricant is used to facilitate the placement of a laryngeal mask, a tracheostomy tube, any endotracheal tubes, or a catheter into the patient.

It is a water-soluble gel consisting of hydroxyethylcellulose, glycerol, water, and sodium chloride. After it is inserted into the oral cavity, glycerin and sodium chloride are absorbed directly from the gastrointestinal tract. TrachJell® lubricating gel has a 5 pH and comes in a tube of 8.5g.

The use of a TrachJell® lubricating gel eliminates possible injuries during the insertion of a tracheostomy cannula, facilitates the placement of tubes in the body as the gel acts as saliva during swallowing, avoids infections of the body, and helps to treat sore throat.

TrachJell® lubricating gel is easy to open, packaged in a special package for easy and quick use without pressure. With transparent color.
