The Veinspy hand-held vein finder 23450 is a portable vein finder for easy visualization of veins in adult, pediatric, geriatric, obese and dark-skinned patients with difficult vein access. It offers accurate and reliable operation.
The Veinspy hand-held vein finder operates with transverse lighting. Specifically, it uses transverse illumination technology to achieve deep illumination of tissue receptors through a circular LED array where light beams penetrate the skin. The veins in the illumination area absorb the light and become visible as dark lines.
The Veinspy hand-held vein finder consists of two sets of colored LEDs: one set emits orange light optimal for superficial veins, another set emits red light to find deeper veins.
