- Equipment must always be cleaned prior to sterilization.
- The recommended method of sterilization is a steam autoclave, and the cycle temperature should not exceed 135°C (275°F) for a maximum time of 15 minutes to prevent product deterioration.
- The steam sterilization process must be carried out in compliance with EN ISO 17664 regulations.
- For hot air sterilization, a temperature between 180° and 200°C is recommended.
- The products can also be sterilized in instrument sterilization ovens up to a temperature of 121°C.
