These superabsorbent gel- forming wound pads are made of acrylic fibers and viscose fibers. These wound dressings are necessary for wound treatment and healing.

Thanks to their special construction Pharmaplast exsorb pad Ag cavity wound dressings retain fluid the environment of the wound as the exudate does not return to the wound but stays in the patch. These wound dressings have the ability to absorb rapidly the exudate of the wound and transformed into soft, hydrophilic, air-permeable gel. Also, they are antimicrobial and antibacterial, as they contain silver.
