The GIMA Gimette 21 dry sterilizer is designed to allow the quick and safe sterilization of surgical instruments without an envelope, according to the so-called dry heat method. In addition, it is entirely made of heat and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Also, the GIMA Gimette 21 dry sterilizer is fully insulated with glass fibers to prevent overheating on the outside, as the door closes - secures the sterilization chamber with a heat-resistant silicone gasket to provide safety and reliability in use.

The GIMA Gimette 21 hot air sterilizer has five aluminum trays (four removable trays and one as the bottom surface) with holes for hot air circulation. The guides on which the trays move are separated from the sides to allow excellent circulation of hot air to achieve maximum heat distribution (it is recommended not to use the bottom surface).

Also, the GIMA Gimette 21 hot air sterilizer includes a stainless steel electric immersion heater, capable of providing high efficiency and low inertia. It also provides automatic temperature control through an automatic thermostat, with a capillary bulb, with automatic adjustment up to 200°C. In the event that the temperature exceeds the set limit during the test, a second bimetallic safety thermostat takes over. Operation of the second thermostat of the GIMA Gimette 21 dry sterilizer causes the red LED to turn on. To program the start time of the thermostat, the timer can be used for up to 120 minutes or fixed in the manual position. The required temperature and time setting is achieved through the thermostat and timer buttons.
