The air pressure redistribution ribbed mattress 0806289 with a foam mattress relieves skin irritations and wounds while lying down for a long time. The air mattress reduces and cures bed sores in chronic bedridden patients or people with long hours in bed.
The ribbed mattress has separate and independent pairs of ribbed air chambers that inflate alternately with different pressures. The pressure in the chambers is constantly changing resulting in no part of the patient's body being pressed off the mattress for an extended period of time. This avoids skin irritation and bedsores.
The air pressure redistribution mattress has a valve for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and can be used for both hospital and home use.
