The HEINE Beta 400/200 otoscope-ophthalmoscope set A-153.27.388 includes the HEINE Beta 400 otoscope and the HEINE Beta 200 ophthalmoscope. The Beta handle is common to both and operates on a USB Rechargeable handle.
HEINE Beta 200 ophthalmoscope:
The HEINE Beta 200 ophthalmoscope has a unique optical system. HEINE optimizes the Gullstrand principle with atmospheric lenses (separation of light and observation beam) for complete elimination of corneal and iris reflections. Guaranteed complete and clear image even in small pupils. The ophthalmoscope handles higher refractive errors with 27 separate Rekoss Disc lenses mounted on a 74-step disc design.

It has an ophthalmoscope lamp with halogen technology (Xenon) XHL with bright white light. HEINE Beta 200 ophthalmoscope with multi-coating observation lens to avoid scattering of light. The optical parts are hermetically sealed, inaccessible to dust, guaranteed, without maintenance required. They are also permanently mounted on an aluminum metal frame ensuring strong anti-vibration protection of the ophthalmoscope from accidental falls. Ergonomic design. Perfect and comfortable fit in the eye socket. Continuous and step-less adjustment of light intensity from 100% to 3%, one-handed use. The ophthalmoscope has 6 apertures and a separate red cut-off filter. Lens range: Perfect focus even on large refractive errors.
