The CORONA-Ag® COVID-19 antigen saliva Rapid Test in a package with 20 tests, for the immediate and qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus antigen (anachromatography), from a human sample of pharyngeal smear, sputum, saliva and stool.
The CORONA-Ag® COVID-19 antigen Rapid Test by DyonMed S.A. is an approved rapid test by the National Organization For Medicines and is a rapid chromatographic immunobiological test to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigen to aid in the diagnosis of coronavirus infection.

Each test is performed for each patient separately so that there are no cases of infections of the solvent vials, which leads to false results. The CORONA-Ag® Point of Care in vitro diagnostic test is individually packaged for easier transport and storage by each patient. This helps in easy transfer of the test while maintaining high percentages of specificity and sensitivity compared to PCR. The quality of its construction ensures the absence of re-contamination of the reagents.
The test procedure for the COVID-19 antigen test from a CORONA-Ag® saliva sample:
- Collection of pharyngeal smear, sputum or feces
- Transfer the sample to the treatment vial containing reagent for mixing by incubation for 1 minute
- The sample is placed on the immunochromatographic control device
- It is left to soak
- Waiting for the result (approximately 15 minutes)
- If even a faint distinct line appears in the control position, it is considered a positive result
- Analysis of the coincidence of CORONA-Ag rapid test and PCR test in nasopharyngeal and pharyngeal smear samples:
In samples of pharyngeal saliva - pharyngeal smear:

COVID-19 antigen tests from a CORONA-Ag® saliva sample by DyonMed S.A. did not show cross-reactions with the following viruses: MERS coronavirus, Human coronaviruses NL63, 229E and OC43, Human adenoviruses type-1, type-3, type-5, type-7, type-8, type-11, type-18 and type-23, Human parainfluenza viruses type-1, type-2, type-3, and type-4, Human rhinoviruses type-1, type-14 and type-42, human post-pneumonia virus and respiratory syncytial viruses A and B.
