The VARISAN ATE 18mmHg line is available in 5 sizes and 1 length with an open toe and fitted heel. Stockings for preventing deep vein thrombosis with a decreasing compression gradient.
Prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary thromboembolism in post-operative and bedridden patients, when the use of pharmacological prophylaxis is contraindicated or in combination with it.
Contraindications
Acute dermohypodermitis, skin infections, peripheral obliterant arteriopathy, known contact allergy to elastic support appliances.
Duration of treatment
The VARISAN ATE 18mmHg stocking should be used by the patient before, during and after an operation, after childbirth or while bedridden.
