The Instapure R2 is the replacement water filter cartridge for the F2 Essentials Faucet Filtration System. The R2 provides cleaner, better tasting drinking water right from your kitchen sink. The Essentials R2 Faucet Filter Replacement Cartridge fits the Instapure F2 Faucet Water Filter System as well as the F3, F5 and F7.
Reduces the Following; 92% of chlorine, bad taste & odor, the R2 does not remove beneficial fluoride.
Installation Instructions
- Unscrew the filter cover and set aside
- Grasp the used filter on one hand and the filter unit in the other hand
- Lift the used filter straight up and discard
- Remove the red plug (if present) from the bottom of the new filter
- Align the holes in the new filter with the white discs in the filter unit
- Press the filter straight down
- Screw the cover back into place
- Flush the new filter for 2 minutes (and for a few seconds before each use)
