Wrist pulse oximeters

Wrist pulse oximeters are designed for the continuous recording and measurement of oxygen saturation and heart rate during the night.

Through overnight oximetry, blood oxygen saturation (oxygen levels) is assessed and at the same time, the heart rate is recorded during sleep. The change in blood oxygen saturation during sleep is considered the most important parameter for detecting sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, therefore wrist pulse oximeters are an ideal tool for the practitioner. The procedure is very simple, as a wrist pulse oximeter is steadily attached to the patient's wrist, while a finger oximetry sensor is connected to the patient's finger and tracks the measured parameters.

With the appropriate software, every wrist pulse oximeter can easily be connected to a PC via USB or Bluetooth, for further data analysis and reporting
