Schulke & Mayr Gigasept instru AF disinfectant 2lt

Schulke & Mayr Gigasept® instru AF tool disinfectant is a concentrate that dissolves in tap water, providing quick and easy disinfection in medical instruments by immersion. It is suitable for cleaning thermostable and heat-sensitive instruments of all types (except flexible endoscopes). The Schulke & Mayr Gigasept® instru AF tool disinfectant has excellent cleaning performance - especially in an ultrasonic bath - and its integrated microbiological effectiveness makes it suitable for cleaning instruments in hospitals and clinics, dealing with highly compatible bacteria, yeasts and viruses.

Schulke & Mayr Gigasept® instru AF disinfectant contains 15.6 g of cocopropylene diaminoguanidine diacetate, 35 g of phenoxypropanols, 2.5 g of benzalkonium chloride, in 100 g of concentrate. Dilute with cold water to obtain one liter of 3% working solution, add 30 ml of concentrate to 970 ml of water.

Schulke & Mayr Gigasept® instru AF, which is for cleaning and disinfecting tools can be left for 7 days and with intermediate use if the pollution load of the tools is not high (obvious dirt). The professional can prepare the solution and use it for 7 days by dipping tools and disinfecting them if they are not visibly soiled.

Microbiological efficacy:

• Bactericidal, Yeast, TB according to DGHM (EN13727, EN14561): 3% -15 minutes, 2% -30 minutes, 1.5% - 60 minutes
• Against proteins with protein coat (including HIV, HBV, and HCV): 1% -5 minutes
• Adenian according to DVV: 4% -60 minutes
• Bactericidal (EN 13727 / prEN 14531): 3% -15 minutes, 2% -30 minutes, 1.5% - 60 minutes
• Fungicide (EN 13624 / prEN 14562): 3% -15 minutes, 2% -30 minutes, 1.5% - 60 minutes
• Tuberculosis (prEN 14348 / prEn 14563) (according to EU standards): 3% -15 minutes, 2% - 30 minutes, 1.5% - 60 minutes
• Polyoma SV40 according to DVV: 4%-60 minutes
• Rotavirus according to DVV: 0.5% -5 minutes
