4 stages of air purification:

• Stage 1 - PROFILTER

The pre-filter binds large particles such as hairs, fluff, etc. It is washable and should be checked and cleaned at least once every 1-2 months as it serves to extend the life of the Hepa filter and activated carbon. It is necessary especially if there are pets in the area.

• Stage 2 - TRUE HEPA FILTER

The HEPA filter retains the very small particles that are present but we do not see with the naked eye. Such are dust, allergens, fungal spores, bacteria, pollen, particles from household materials and furniture, from pets, from humans, etc.

• Stage 3 - ACTIVE CARBON FILTER

Activated Carbon Filter absorbs and breaks down toxic gaseous pollutants and odors from cigarette and fireplace smoke, flue gas, smog, chemicals, cooking, pets, etc. Winix Zero uses 1 activated carbon filter every 3-4 months for 3-4 months. The package contains a total of 4 activated carbon filters.

• Stage 4 - PLASMAWAVE TECHNOLOGY

The innovative PlasmaWave technology creates hydroxyls that neutralize viruses, bacteria, chemicals and odors at the molecular level. PlasmaWave does not produce ozone unlike other device technologies such as ionization and ozone-releasing UV lamps.

With the Auto function the device itself increases or decreases the cleaning speed in order to clean the air we breathe in the most efficient way. In addition, it has a particle sensor.
