The ULTRANAK-1 air sterilization device is a completely safe air sterilizer that can operate all day without causing any difficulties in the people nearby. It is a Greek product that uses a UVC lamp which emits ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 254nm. This makes the ULTRANAK-1 air sterilizer microbicidal and seed-killing, covering the full range of pathogens (such as fungi, bacteria, seeds, viruses, and other potentially suspended pathogens or particles).

Air sterilizers that operate through UV rays have been used for 40 years for the purposes of sterilizing water, air, surfaces, objects, food, pharmaceuticals, etc. The action of UV radiation is physicochemical. It directly destroys the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of viruses and thus prevents their reproduction.

According to research on various bacteria, the required energy dose for 99.99% sterilization varies between 10 and 100mJ / cm2 in viruses. For the coronaviruses, the requirement averages 67mJ / cm2, which seems to be the widely accepted dose value for 90% neutralization of SARS-CoV-2.

The ULTRANAK-1 UV sterilization lamp is made of cold-rolled steel sheet, painted with strong epoxy electrostatic paint and has:

  • Two air inlet/outlet fans
  • Stainless steel sheet, AISI304 as a reflector
  • Time counter
  • Operation indicator light
  • Guarantees absolute safety in the presence of staff
