Dräger Alcotest 6000

The Dräger Alcotest 6000 allows the professional user to perform breathalyzing tests quickly and accurately. The electrochemical sensor it contains provides the possibility to measure the percentage of alcohol - in just a few seconds - of a user or even the alcohol that is in the atmospheric air (passive measurement) in this case the use of the mouthpiece is not required.

In particular, the Dräger Alcotest 6000 breath analyzer stands out for its fast response and long life use, as well as, the excellent accuracy and reliability of the results it offers. Furthermore, it works reliably even in temperatures of -5 to +50°C / 23 to 122°F and the sensor provides fast results even in high alcohol content, both in an examinee and in passive measurements.

In addition, the shape of the mouthpiece of the Dräger Alcotest 6000 allows its correct application even in the dark, while by simply removing it and adding a new mouthpiece, the breathalyzer is ready for use again. Also, occlusion attempts are repelled as the air outlet cannot be closed off, defeating its use when no breath sample is given, and also the spacer located on the mouthpiece prevents the user's lips from contacting the device, so to ensure its hygienic and safe use.

Also, during the breathalyzing the emitted air is directed outside the device and not inside, a 90° angle is maintained between the user and the examinee during the test for safe use, the mouthpiece is separately manufactured and easily removed as well as the non-return valve prevents air inhalation through the mouthpiece.

The Dräger Alcotest 6000 breathalyzer works by pressing only 3 buttons:

• measurement button: OK
• navigation buttons: blue buttons (2)

All measurement functions can be operated with a single button for ease of use of the breathalyzer, also an LED and an audible signal indicate the end of measurement while the large screen displays full-text messages to guide you safely during performing the test. Also, through the 2 buttons, you can navigate to the menu where you can perform functions such as reviewing the latest results and printing them. In addition, it can store up to 500 measurements and connect via USB to a PC for viewing the history results.
