NeuroMetrix NC-stat DPNCheck

NeuroMetrix NC-stat DPNCheck is a device that is being used by the Health Care Professionals for sural nerve conduction study for the early detection and management of the Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy. It is a fast, accurate and quantitative test that may be used to evaluate peripheral neuropathies such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN).

NC-stat DPNCheck is designed to detect, confirm and monitor diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN). It will detect the diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN), even in the absence of symptoms and signs. It helps confirm or rule-out DPN and quantify severity. Monitor changes in DPN over time and in response to treatment.

It provides to the physicians quantitative results - measures sural nerve conduction velocity and response amplitude - standard biomarkers for asymptomatic and clinical peripheral neuropathies. The testing method is sensitive and specific for peripheral neuropathies including  (DPN), and predictive of its complications.

NeuroMetrix NC-stat DPNCheck uses an accurate technology - based on the established and validated NC-stat® Technology. It is straightforward that enables the doctor for quick clinical interpretation. Furthermore, it is a compact and ergonomic hand-held device that allows testing in every testing room. Apart from the device, there are single patient use biosensors that are being used by the doctor as well in the clinical setting.

It has LCD monitor, where the results are displayed, biosensor port and infrared thermometer that reads the patient's skin surface temperature. NC-stat DPNCheck also has a USB port for communication with a PC. It is an ergonomic handled device that requires a lithium ion battery 3V (type CR123A).

NC-stat DPNCheck is manufactured by NeuroMetrix in compliance with the U.S. federal quality system regulation (21 CFR Part 820) and is available in one year warranty.
