i-STAT 6+ cartridges (25 pcs)

i-STAT 6+ cartridges are designed for use in laboratories and tests and they measure blood gases, electrolytes, and the patient's acid-base balance.

 i-STAT 6+ cartridges measure a wide range of clinical trials, such as:

• Sodium (Na)
• Potassium (K)
• Chloride (Cl)
• Glucose (Glu)
• Urea Nitrogen (BUN)/Urea
• Hematocrit (Hct)
• Hemoglobin (Hgb)

 i-STAT 6+ cartridges contain chemically sensitive biosensors, on silicon chips for specific tests.

To run a test correctly, 2 to 3 drops of blood are required in the cartridge, which then enters the i-STAT clinical analyzer. The cartridges, before being used, initiate preset quality control diagnostics, from monitoring the quality of the sample to the validation of the reagent.
