U-Frame radiotherapy mask is specially formulated for enhanced molding capabilities with minimal shrinkage resulting in optimal patient comfort. They can be closely molded to a patient’s anatomy, providing strong support, comfort and accurate reproducibility. U-Frame radiotherapy mask must be stored in a dry, clean place at temperatures between 50°F (10°C) and 95°F (35°C) and can be disposed of with normal facility waste.
Preheat oven or water bath to a temperature between 160° and 170° F (71°-74° C). Set baseplate on treatment table with suitable head and neck support. Identify which holes on the frame fit the pins on your baseplate for quick alignment when the U-Frame radiotherapy mask is ready. Position patient on baseplate.
