KORR Medical Technologies was founded in 1993 by Scott Kofoed, Ph.D. and Joseph Orr, Ph.D. in Salt Lake City Utah as a vehicle to commercialize proprietary respiratory flow-measurement technology. That technology is incorporated in medical instruments sold by GE Medical Systems, Siemens, Novametrix Medical Systems, PDS Instrumentation, Fluke Biomedical, Respironics, and others.
KORR Medical Technologies has apply years of respiratory research to take on the challenge of health and fitness. KORR makes it possible for practitioners to obtain an accurate measurement of an individual’s unique resting metabolic rate, considered by many to be the new “vital sign” for obesity treatment.
