PTS Diagnostics Metabolic Chemistry test strips (15 pcs)

Metabolic Chemistry test strips manufactured by Polymer Technology Systems, for use with CardioChek PA analyzer. 

PTS Metabolic Chemistry test strips offer easy and accurate measurements of glucose, HDL cholesterol and triglycerides. After the test strip is inserted into the analyzer and blood (40 µL, finger or vein) applied to the strip, test results are displayed in about 2 minutes.

HDL cholesterol and triglycerides measurements are important because they are used in the diagnosis and treatment of lipoprotein metabolism and lipid disorders (such as diabetes mellitus), atherosclerosis, and various renal and liver diseases. Also important are Glucose measurements because they are used in the management of carbohydrate metabolism disorders.

The measurement range of glucose is 20-600 mg/dL (1.11 -33.3 mmol/L), of HDL cholesterol is 25-100 mg/dL (0.65-2.59 mmol/L) and the range of triglyceride is 50-500 mg/dL (0.56-5.65 mmol/L). 15 Metabolic Chemistry test strips per vial.
