The Easytrain MYO is a portable EMG-biofeedback device with bluetooth connectivity, which allows for treatment monitoring through a computer. The Easytrain MYO also features a memory card (MMC) for storage of patient data, when used at home.

The Easytrain MYO is particularly easy to use:

It uses three display modes:
Bar graph
Line Graph
History line graph

The display mode, treatment type and limits can easily be changed in the "setup mode", for any patient. The high-precision Easytrain MYO performs 512 measurements per second. The use of specially designed EMG cables in combination with the amplifier minimizes possible electro-smog disturbance.

The Easytrain MYO can be used for muscle rehabilitation, hemiplegia, incontinence, relaxation problems, lumbago, coordination problems, triggered neuromuscular stimulation with the EMP4 experts.

The Easytrain MYO has the following biofeedback programs:

“Relaxation”:

This program is an EMG-relaxation training with adaptive threshold. If the patient reaches the threshold line several times, the value of the threshold will change automatically.

“Balance”:

The balance program is a symmetrical training working with two bar graphs which requires the use of the 2 channels. This training combines the improvement of a symmetric muscle tension and the relaxation of the muscles. It also offers the option of connection to stereo headphones to receive an acoustic feedback audible on each ear representing each measured side.

“EMG monitoring”:

EMG monitoring is a special program to determine and control the muscular activity over a long period of time. This program is often used in rehabilitation and sports activities to control the treatment in use or the training results.

“Incontinence”:

The incontinence training works with an acoustic and visual graphic signal in order to inform the patient precisely when he/she has to contract and release his/her pelvic floor muscles. The ideal threshold and other parameters can easily be saved in the "setup mode".
